As you consider participation in the MIT Amgen UROP Scholars Program, please keep the following important dates and deadlines in mind.
- November 1, 2007: Online application
becomes available
- February 1, 2008: Last date to submit
online applications
- February 1-10, 2008: UAAP conducts initial
review of applications
- February 11-22, 2008: Applications distributed
to faculty mentors for final review and selection
- Early March, 2008: Amgen Scholars notified
of acceptance
- June 9, 2008: Orientation and welcome
dinner for 2007 Amgen Scholars
- June 10, 2008: Summer program begins
- July (TBA): Mid-summer symposium in Los
Angeles, CA
- August 8, 2008: Summer program ends;
poster session and reception (time and location TBA)
