1. VP of Freshman Recruiting
Christy & Rutu nominated, accepted, elected unanimously
2. Secretary
Simone nominated, accepted, elected unanimously
3. Webmaster
Yan: 1st job of webmaster is to talk to Catherine Modica to get permis-
sion to edit UWIP website, Elizabeth Maroon (previous webmaster)
has some code and pictures for website
Fangfei nominated, accepted, elected unanimously
4. VP in Charge of Grad Mentoring
Yan: role involves sending out survey to undergrad and grad groups
and playing matchmaker to pair mentors and mentees, ideally should
go to some grad women’s dinners
Tess nominated, accepted, elected unanimously
5. President
Yan nominated, accepted, elected unanimously
6. Rebecca’s announcment
Plug for class next semester: 16.83 (capstone engineering class for
Course 16) which is building Exoplanet satellite, good class to take
after Tegmark’s class

Orders of magnitude class by Janet Conrad [8.226 Forty-three Orders
of Magnitude]
8. J-Lab concerns: but Christy, Lauren, and Fangfei will not be in Junior
Lab next semester
