resources: facilities

Visual Arts Program labs and shops, equipment, and outside resources.

The Visual Arts Program facilities are located on the first and third floors of building N51 at 265 Massachusetts Avenue. On the first floor, VAP students have access to a woodshop, metal shop, sewing room, casting room, and courtyard. The third floor houses the photographic darkroom, Interform Editing Lab with dv editing and digital imaging stations, sound studio, and graduate computer lab.

In addition to the labs and shops, students taking Visual Arts Program classes have access to video, audio, and photographic equipment during the semester.

VAP graduate students receive a studio for the duration of their studies.

VAP facilities are only available to students currently enrolled in a VAP course. All facilities are closed for the summer.
