SECTION : Vector Fields

SUBJECT: A Circulating Flow of Particles

DESCRIPTION:

The animation shows a set of particles which have neither a sink nor a source (except at the beginning of the animation). Once created, the particles circulate about the center of the cone at different radii, and are neither created nor destroyed. The vector velocities of the particles as seen from above are directed counterclockwise about the center of the cone.
