BACKGROUND Le Ngoc Thanh and Le Duc Hai, renowned twin artists from Hue, Vietnam. Thanh & Hai's uniquely modernized usage of a traditional art-form has gained international acclaims in Thailand, Holland, England, and France. We are very excited that Thanh & Hai will also be leading a workshop to demonstrate the art of lacquer painting as well as revealing their own artistic interpretations. In addition, IVCE will also showcase a video on visual art performance during the exhibition to complement the artwork. DIRECTIONS By public transportation: Red Line to Kendall Square. Walk toward Vassar Street. Turn left at Vassar and continue to walk toward Massachusetts Avenue. Take a right here and walk for one block. The Student Center should be on your right. It's a five-story high concrete building. By car: Student Center, 84 Massachusetts Avenue, W20-307. Follow directions to Route 2A/Mass Ave. Cross the Massachusetts Avenue Bridge over the Charles River. The Student Center should be on your left at the cross walk of MIT main entrance.
