White chocolate Almond Tart:

1 large bar of white chocolate (you can use a white Baking Bar, found in the
2 1/4 cups flour (I used unbleached white)
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
5 tblsp margarine, melted
2 eggs
1/4 tsp almond extract
1/2 cup slivered almonds

Melt chocolate over LOW LOW heat in heavy pan (or in double boiler), stirring
constantly, until smooth (it never gets LIQUID, but it gets mushy. Do not let
it brown much, but a little browning will happen). Set aside. In small bowl,
mix flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside. In large bowl, mix sugar,
extract, and eggs until smooth. Beat in white chocolate. Add flour mixture
gradually; beat smooth. Pour into an 8x8 square pan or better, a drop-bottom
tart pan (greased). Bake in preheated oven (350 degrees) for 25 minutes.
Serve with a flourish.

Rich but not too sweet. Cribbed most of this one off the back of the white
baking bar box.
