The food festival is on MIT's campus, just across the street from the main entrance at 77 Mass Ave in Cambridge, from 11am till 6pm on Sunday, May 5. The site is near the intersection of Mass Ave and Memorial Drive, on the Cambridge bank of the Charles River. Please email foodfair-request@mit.edu for clarifications.

Via public transportation

MBTA Bus

The #1 bus, which ranges from Dudley Square to Harvard Square along Mass Ave., stops directly in front of the Festival site. Get off the bus at the 77 Mass Ave entrance to MIT (with the pillars). The #1 bus also stops at the convenient Central Square, and Hynes/ICA subway stations for an effective subway/bus combo.

MBTA Subway

Central Square (red line): walk down Mass Ave toward the river, away from Harvard Square (in the direction of decreasing street address numbers). This will bring you to MIT's campus. Or, take the #1 bus along Mass. Ave. to the festival.

Kendall Square (red line): walk down Main Street away from river, veer left on Vassar. Continue on to the Mass Ave and Vassar intersection, and turn left onto Mass Ave, walk a short distance.

Hynes/ICA (green line): walk down Mass Ave toward the river, cross the river, and MIT is one or two minutes' walk from the river on Mass Ave. Or, take the #1 bus from the station along Mass. Ave. to the festival.

Central Square is perhaps the closest and most direct, but Hynes/ICA is the most scenic :)
