Facilities
 

Our laboratory is located in Rooms 8-212 and 8-214 at MIT, and is divided among five functional bays:

  • Mechanical Bay: machining, instrument development, sample preparation
  • ComputationalBay: simulation of material systems and nanomechanical experiments
  • Chemical Bay: cantilever functionalization, gel electrophoresis, protein purification
  • Biological Bay: cell culture
  • Isolation Space: acoustically and thermally isolated space for sensitive nanomechanical experiments
