Freshman Essay Evaluation
The first step in completing the Communication
Requirement is the Freshman Essay Evaluation (FEE). The
FEE assesses a student's competency in expository writing to provide
a detailed evaluation that will help inform that student's selection
of classes. It also determines whether the student will have to
enroll in an expository writing class (CI-HW) during his or her
