Come tour the heavens at MIT's Wallace Astrophysical Observatory located 45 minutes northwest of Boston in Westford MA. Use various telescopes from 14" to 24" for both visual observing and electronic imaging of the stars, the moon, and other celestial bodies.
For the tour on January 11th, transportation will be provided for 34, up to 8 additional people can attend if they can provide their own transportation. In the event of inclement weather, a raindate will be announced. The tour on the 14th requires that you provide your own transportation to the observatory.
Exact evening times will be distributed via e-mail before the event, but expect 6:30PM - 11PM to cover the full time (including the bus ride) on January 11. The January 14 tour will last from 8pm to 10pm. Participants will be notified by e-mail. Remember to dress warmly. Register on the web only. (See form below.)
