NSF R&D Federally Financed Expenditures
This represents one part (ITEM 2B) of three parts of the NSF Survey of R&D Expenditures at Universities and College for Current Fund Expenditures. This part, ITEM 2B, represents the federally financed R&D expenditures for separately budgeted research and development by field of science and engineering.

| NSF_RDEXP_FIELD | This is a dimension table for the stars of NSF R&D Current Fund Expenditures and NSF R&D Equipment Expenditures. It contains all the fields of science and engineering as well as non-science and engineering as defined in the survey. Examples are: chemical engineering, civil engineering, chemistry, physics, mathematical sciences, computer science, social sciences and life sciences. For non-science and engineering fields, examples are: education, law, humanities, visual & performing arts, business & management, social work, and communications, journalism, & library science.
