The ice rapidly sublimates and makes the sample look extremely dust-rich (595A4, 595A7, 595A8). It's pretty cool how fast this happens (over, say, an hour or so) and makes the overall size of the ice clumps very easy to distinguish. The compression direction is NW-SE, and the center of the sample is near the top left corner of the photos.
