William Watson is Professor Emeritus, of Modern European History. Professor Watson received his Ph.D. in Medieval History from Harvard University. His research interests include European political and cultural history, the Spanish Civil War, and Ernest Hemingway. Professor Watson has written numerous publications about Ernest Hemingway and is currently at work on A Politico-Literary Biography of Hemingway's Spanish Civil War Experiences. Professor Watson is a past recipient of a Fulbright Research Fellowship to Spain.
