Do software product lifecycle management:

  • Invented aspects of the Linux Platform Coordinator.
  • Updated Linux OpenAFS.
  • Delivered stretch break software.
  • Delivered Linux utility CD with rescue and repartitioning capability.
  • Investigate delivering OpenAFS for Windows users not joined to win.mit.edu.
  • Investigate delivering OpenAFS for MacOS.
  • Retired Red Hat 3.
  • Keep our Supported Linux apps up to date.
  • Keep abreast of vendor product life-cycles.
  • Initiated a review of the how and what of IS&T Linux support.

CSS

 

Serve as a mentor for people and projects within CSS:

  • Helped found and operate the CSS developer's group.
  • Making progress with the Thunderbird Review project.
