The Scent of Distraction

The conference is almost over.
It's been very productive.
But I'm craving romance.

The stranger to my left
Is from the Netherlands.
He's focused on the speaker
And on taking notes.

I too listen to the speaker
By my attention is on
The scent of the stranger.
I take it in and hold it.

This is the closest I've gotten
In many days, here and at home
To sex of any kind.

I think he didn't shower this morning.
I'm glad.
