Weather ControlToday I caught myselfPraying for sunshine. Remember the children's rhyme? "Rain, rain go away. Come again some other day." Our best guess these days Is that it's not a spirit But a thing called "carbon footprint" That affects the weather. So a chant won't change the weather. But a million people Making choices about When to drive or what to eat Just might. I wonder: Do the ones who say, "Global warming a a myth," Also pray for rain? |
