Sudoku-Solver.jar Sudoku.java GUI and simple solver for Sudoku Puzzles.
This was my first non-trivial Java app, and I completed it in a week.
For your convenience, I also typed in some sample puzzles.

Run as Applet Sudoku_applet.java Run the above Sudoku solver class as an applet. Alas you can't load or save puzzles. TODO: Remove menu from Applet, or enable some file I/O.
Learning for the first time how to make an applet from an app took a day.

Editorials

As an engineer and a poet, I often feel called to present a distillation of some complex topic I've been exploring. It is my hope that these papers enable others to find a point of engagement to either clarify understanding or to motivate their own explorations.

Many of these papers were targeted at the people I managed as a team leader so they could understand why they should bother with unpleasant activities like measuring their project performance, or how they could get insight into marketing their ideas without having to slog through reading a whole marketing book.
