Mission Statement

WGA³ is a group for graduate women in the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics at MIT. Our goal is to build a community and encourage relationships between graduate women in aerospace engineering, women faculty in Aero/Astro, and women throughout MIT. A few of our objectives and activities include:

• Fostering relationships between women students and faculty
• Providing support and mentoring for undergraduate women engineers
• Supporting outreach opportunities to encourage and educate younger generations about engineering (middle school / high school level)
• Hosting seminars and lectures with prominent women in engineering
• Encouraging community between WGA³ and other women groups at MIT
• Providing information, support and other resources for graduate women at MIT
