BPAF ON-GOING SPECIAL PROJECT
“PROJECT ADOPT”
We will adopt one or more African AIDS orphanages
and attempt
to continue to continue to support it each year. To date, we have
given some support to an orphanage in Ethiopia, Nigeria, South Africa, and
Uganda.
Did you know…
It costs $2.1 billion U.S. taxpayer dollars for one
intercontinental stealth bomber.
It costs $50 to provide sheets, blankets, clothes, shoes,
school uniforms, books, and supplies for one child for one year.
What can YOU do? -- Adopt an African AIDS orphanage
We expect to continue to sponsor special programs
the proceeds of which will go to selected AIDS orphanages.
We will be pleased to help YOU identify particular African AIDS orphanages
in need of continuing support and will assist in the effective transfer
of funds to them.
The proceeds of the 2002 program were sent through the following local organizational
contacts
for a selected orphanage in each of three countries.
in Nigeria: Community Development Link -- Oluremi Johnson
in Uganda: Uganda Orphans Rural Development Project -- Dr. Angela Wakhweya
in Ethiopia: African AIDS Initiative
