We will be looking for an organization to manufacture the Wockets. All the specs will be online for the devices, but ideally there will be a vendor who will agree to make, inventory, and sell the devices in both small and large quantities. The MIT team will try to work with organizations that want to commercialize Wockets, as long as access to the devices for everyone from hobbyists to other companies is maintained.

Ultimately, we hope that the devices are manufactured on a very large scale, because that will be required to hit a price point that makes use of the devices practical for population-scale research.

For small businesses, it might be possible for the MIT group to work collaboratively with the organization to apply for SBIR grants that might assist with this type of collaboration.
