Excursions
As a means of introducing members to each other as well as their new surroundings, the League sponsors a number of outings to areas of interest in and around Cambridge and Boston. Recent excursions have included trips to the historic Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge, the Adams National Historical Park in Quincy, MA — home to 2nd U.S. President John Adams and 6th U.S. President John Quincy Adams — as well as an outing to Boston's Institute of Contemporary Art. Other trips have included walking tours of Boston's Newbury Street, the North End, and an architectural tour of Beacon Hill.
See the League's calendar for up-to-date information.
