Bridge. Accessible by public transportation, the FX is about a 10-minute walk down

Inventory
Many beautiful one-of-a-kind furniture pieces are available at the Furniture Exchange. Below is a very
small sampling of our current inventory. Although every effort is made
to show unsold items, pictured items may be sold since our inventory is constantly changing.
The best way to know what is available is to visit the store. In addition to furniture we have an extensive stock of glassware
and tableware. Click on any picture to enlarge it, and use the browser's back button to return to this page.

Donations
In order to continue this valuable service, the FX is always in need
of donations of good, usable furniture, including sofas, chairs,
tables, bookcases, desks, bed frames, futon frames, dressers, cabinets, lamps,
rugs, small appliances, cooking utensils, dishes, children's items,
bikes, and more. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept used mattresses, box springs, drop-side cribs, used stuffed animals, and older style televisions. If you are moving and can't take everything with
you, or if you are just in the mood to update some of your household
furnishings, we will happily accept donations in good condition. All
donations are tax-deductible and arrangements can be made for the pick-up of large
items or a substantial donation.

Volunteers
|
Run by volunteers, the FX is always looking for people willing to
volunteer 2 or more hours a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am
to 4pm and on the first Saturday of each month from 10am to 1pm, but the need is greatest during the afternoon. Our
volunteers come from all walks of life. Volunteers are needed to help as sales consultants,
assist with inventory pricing, arrange and display merchandise, and
keep things tidy. |
