Chorale
Comprised of women from both the MIT and Harvard communities, this 35- to 50-voice chorus sings a repertoire of music ranging from medieval to contemporary, sacred to secular. This is the longest-running League interest group; Chorale gave its 75th anniversary concert in May 2008.
The group rehearses on Thursday evenings during the semesters, from 7:45 to 10 pm in the Emma Rogers Room (10-340), and performs two concerts each year.
Chorale welcomes new voices. To learn more, contact Elizabeth Parr at eaparr@mit.edu or visit the website at http://web.mit.edu/womensleague/womenschorale.
