The informal plan for the nursery was generated from my wish to have it look more like a grove of trees or a young forest when viewing from outside the fence rather than a block of rows and columns of trees. The nursery is in this way meant to have a positive impact on the aesthetic condition of the neighborhood. The specific plant types are arranged in groups together to allow for some ease in maintenance. The outside classroom is for using the nursery for educational purposes with the small shed in the northwest corner for tool and soil amendment /conditioner storage. |
