Transforming Urban Landscape - LARP 601
Cultivating the Urban Forest

The concept of the urban forest is to improve man's awareness of nature. Intensifying the city's natural elements is a starting point for

deepening man's involvement with environment. This process can bestow upon urban dwellers a new relationship: One in which man,

nature, and city are united. Our street tree nursery is a facility designed to help this come about. We hope to support our intent by

allying our concept to a historic archetype: the garden. The garden is a place which emphasizes the gifts of the natural world and the

benefits they offer to the urban dweller. The nursery will gradually offer fully grown street trees to the cityscape.
