Water supply for the Main Nursery

1. The rain water is collected from the southeast corner of the roofs of the houses beside the garden:
a pipe leads the water into a catch basin in the nursery.

2. Street runoff from Fairmount St, Aspen St, Brown St, 49th St:
from the highest point in this area, water flows naturally down 48th St. Water is gathered in a ditch by the side walk surrounding the nursery, and directed into the catch basin.

3. In case of drought, the water hydrants are ready.
