The above and the left are the original ideas for the nursery.
There are ten "rows" for ten species of trees. Each class will work on their own row. The spacing of the whips is six feet. There will be enough space for the students and their helpers working.
The pergolas are a connecting system which connect to the community gardens and will extend to the Aspen farm garden. They provide the shade for the sidewalks. The pergola which connects to the tool booth is for the entrance of the nursery. Vines are on the fences and pergolas.
The original idea of the irrigation system is using the wooden construction. The water is pumped from the pumping station up to the construction and sprayed down to the plants and ground. The construction is suggested to be changed to the posts due to the financial reason.
