| The nursery is divided into seven different areas. Two of them are seating areas exclusively. The students are divided into groups, each working in the other five by rotation. This allows them to be exposed to all the positive and negative aspects of tree growth in each section. Each area is of different geometry to make students aware of manmade and the natural. They would be able to appreciate the role of the Sun in growing trees when they see the difference in the growth in a shaded area vs. an open one. By growing and caring for the trees on their own gives them a hands-on experience of plants. |
