The most common way of funding a miniature golf
course, according to MS Audrie Evans, manager of the "Golf Farm"
(801 Haddonfield-Berlin Rd, Voorhees, New Jersey 08043-4393), is that of
searching a specialized constructor, who builds the miniature golf course
using a certain amount of money. The debt towards the constructor is extinguished
year by year by paying
a percentage on the profits.
An alternative method could be that of applying for a bank loan, that
is a sum of money lent at certain conditions, usually at interest, or finding
a sponsor, which means someone who pays, or contributes towards, the cost
of the course and its maintenance in return for commercial advertisement.
A miniature golf course could be supported by public funds, especially the
Mill Creek one; some public supporters would be:
West Philadelphia Empowerment
Philadelphia Commercial Development Corporation
Philadelphia Planning Commission
Setpta
A sum of money could also be the subject of a formal grant in case of a private funding.
