The preceding maps indicate the markings of the social, political and natural agents of change leading towards the settlement and abandonment of Mill Creek.  These manifestations occur over space and have their effects within time. A majority of these patterns can be seen at various scales still today. This analysis offers the opportunity to understand these agents of change as the environment within which we design. The vacant land and buildings seen above are not clean slates for creation, but are the results of the natural, social and political processes which have sculpted their history.
