  • You will need access to a computer with:
    • word processing software
    • Internet access (modem, cable modem, T-1 line, etc.)
    • a web browser. For best viewing, we recommend Firefox 1.5.0.2 or higher, Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher, or Netscape 4.74 or higher, although this system is viewable with Lynx.
      • If you use a version of Internet Explorer earlier than 6.0, you will have to set your internet security settings to "medium-low", or add the site https://mit.imoat.net to your list of trusted sites.
      • If you use an earlier version of Netscape, you will need to make sure that SSL is enabled. Click on "Security", then on "Navigator" and make sure both SSL v. 2 and SSL.v. 3 are checked. If the page you are viewing appears encrypted, simply choose "reload" and refresh the page.
      • If you access the internet using AOL (America On Line) you should check that you do not have parental restrictions on your screen name.
