Instrumentation

The departmental X-Ray Diffraction Facility is equipped with a Siemens three-circle Platform diffractometer, coupled to a Bruker-APEX CCD detector. Latest addition to the instrument is an Oxford Cryosystems Cryostream 700. This state-of-the-art equipment allows to collect high-quality data even from very small samples within a relatively short time frame.
