Ingredients:
- Apple Sauce
- Onion
- Minced Garlic
- Poppy Seeds
- Oregano, both dried and fresh
- Adobo (a mysterious powder)
- (Fresh) Salmon, of course
- A bay leaf (careful, it'll cut your throat)
Preparation:
You mix 1/3 cup of apple sauce with a spoonful of garlic. You add the
spices, then you put the fish in it. On the griddle, you put onions
chopped in little thin pieces. You wait for it to be toasted and
almost burning, moving it around in a logical way. Then, you add some
water, which becomes onionified (it's great!). Then, you put the
fish, scales-side down, on the part of the griddle that does not have
onion liquid. When the fish is a little bit toasted, you can divide
it into portions. Then, put the rest of the sauce from before onto
the onion region of the griddle. Put the fish upside-down onto the
oniony/appley stuff (scales up). Cook. Move the fish so that it
toasts a little on the non-scale side and cover it with all the other
stuff. Yay!
