My research interests are new energy materials, particularly materials for electrochemical energy conversion and storage systems.
Before my current position, I worked as a post-doctoral research fellow in the Laboratory For Electrochemical Interfaces and Nano Materials and Electronic Group at MIT. My advisors are Prof. Bilge Yildiz and Prof. Jing Kong.
I obtained my PhD degree in Nuclear Science and Engineering at MIT in June 2014. My thesis advisor is Prof. Bilge Yildiz. The title of my Ph.D. thesis is "Electronic structure of perovskite oxide surfaces at elevated temperatures and its correlation with oxygen reduction reactivity". Prior to my graduate studies at MIT, I studied at Peking University, China, where I obtained a B.S. in Physics&Statistics and a M.E. in Ion Beam Physics.
