A DAY IN
THE
LIFE
OF MIT

a photochallenge sponsored by Technique

NOTE: The event has ended. Submission info has been posted on our main page.

We'd like you to join us in trying to describe our experiences at MIT through a single day of photographs.

Wherever you go on Monday, April 14th, bring your camera along and document the world around you - shower tiles, secret classroom yawns, the way the light hits the student center steps, eight straight hours of staring at an emacs buffer, whatever it is you see in your day.

Don't go out of your way like: "Oh it's such a lovely day outside, I bet Boston Common has some beautiful shots," think more like: "Oh it's such a lovely day outside, but since I'm trapped in this damn lab, I guess I'll take some pictures of people staring at oscilloscopes."

Film or digital pictures from any camera you want to use will be accepted, though if you'd like to shoot film, we'll supply free rolls of 35mm (while supplies last) and collect for processing from our office in the Student Center.
