One of the reasons why you came to MIT was the strong academic experience, and living at ZBT will help you make the most of it. Before every test in a freshman class, an upperclassman will run a study session; this has proven very useful in subjects like physics. We also have a huge collection of "bibles" - old course material - an academic chairman to guide you through your freshman year and choice of major, and brothers from fifteen different courses to help you with your classes.

In addition:

  • We have several brothers with 5.0 GPAs

  • Our chapter room and computer cluster provide additional study space and access to a large library of academic books and "bibles"

  • Brothers are great sources of information about academic opportunities such as UROPs

  • If you're thinking about graduate school, brothers who have been through the process can help guide you

  • Our house has brothers in every school and almost every department

  • Access to a National Need and Merit Scholarship Fund
