During
last year's National Convention, our ZBT chapter won the award for Most
Outstanding Varsity Athletics. This award is given to the ZBT chapter
with the greatest participation in varsity sports nationwide.
Zebes are varsity athletes on such diverse teams as rifle, ultimate,
soccer, and cross country. No matter what the sport, a Zebe always has
the dedication and support of the brotherhood to help achieve his athletic
potential.
We also field many intramural teams, in all leagues of almost every
sport. Brothers participate whether they are beginners or pros. This
year, ZBT won the prestigious Intramural Affiliation of the Year, which
goes to the group with the greatest participation and success in intramural
sports at MIT. In the past three years, Zebes have even founded the
foosball league and the table tennis league!
Our location allows for more informal activities as well. Just down
the street are basketball, baseball, and tennis facilities, which we
often make use of for pick-up games. |
