Doctor Thaddeus Vorpwhistle was one of the founding members of MIT. Despite this, they had no problem letting him go on sabbatical to pursue his theories. He looks vaguely like a cross between Mark Twain and Einstein.

Preferred Weapons:

EKG. The EKG uses captured lightning to put down any trouble (or at least, any conductive trouble). It looks vaguely like a carbine rifle, albeit one whose exterior is wrapped in leather. The ammunition for this rifle is in a detachable canister magazine, each chamber of which holds one charge (there are six chambers).
