Sharing Experiences는 국내외 젊은 전문가 및 예비 전문가들이 첨단 기술을 바탕으로 미래 사회에 대한 고민을 함께 하고 그동안 쌓아온 경험과 지식을 나누는 공유의 장입니다.

정보기술, 공학, 미디어, 인문사회과학, 경영, 디자인, 예술 등 다양한 분야에 기반한 다학제간 공감대와 소통방식을 체험적으로 발전시키려는 데에 그 취지가 있습니다.

미국 내 유학생 및 연구원들이 그동안 습득한 창의적인 연구 방법론을 한국 사회에 적용하려는 논의를 하던 중, MIT Media Lab의 한국 연구원들을 중심으로 2009년 여름 첫 행사를 개최하게 되었습니다.

앞으로 미래 사회에 공헌할 수 있는 창의적 사고법을 배양하고, 국내외 기업, 연구 활동 및 다양한 창작의 분야에서 새로운 시너지를 창출하는 지속가능한 모임으로 발전시킬 예정입니다.

Sharing experiences is a network of researchers in media arts and technologies.

We are passionate about developing and promoting an interdisciplinary approach by building a common ground among information technology, engineering, liberal arts, business, design and art.

We are hosting our first public event in August 2009, organized by the Korean researchers at the MIT Media Lab. Please join us in Seoul, Korea 8/10-16.

Our long term goal is to grow into a network that fosters unorthodox approaches to the R&D activities in academia and the industry.
