I am a third year graduate student in MIT's department of linguistics. My main research interests include the morphology and syntax of Mayan languages (especially Chol), ergativity and split ergativity, predicate initial languages, and the syntax of nominal constructions. Before coming to MIT I lived in Portland, Oregon and was an undergraduate at Reed College. I currently live in Cambridge with my husband Jess Burgess. He is an urban planning student. Some things that I like include: cooking, traveling, Scrabble, camping, patio gardening, hiking, reading, wine, yoga, and crossword puzzles.
Also, I think Zipcars are really cool. If you join Zipcar through this link, we'll both get some free driving credit: |
