Derivative Function

Approximate the value of the derivative of a function through a collection of x-values by approximating the slope of the tangent line through these points.

A graphing window displays in blue the graph of a function f(x) which is chosen from a pull down menu. A collection of vertical sliders control the slope of a line through the graph above it.

A checkbox toggles displays the derivative of the function displayed in blue below it in pink.
