Welcome to my website. I'm
in the class of 2011 at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and I
am double majoring in course VIII (physics) and course XVIII
(mathematics). My primary interests these days are in high-energy theory - both as a subject of intrinsic interest and also as a tool
for studying problems in statistical physics and condensed matter theory.
My MIT username is kdiab. At MIT, student e-mail addresses are formed by appending @mit.edu to usernames. I also have a gmail account,
and my gmail username is iostream.h. I live at
Random Hall, the coolest dorm at MIT.
I attended high school at the
Hawken School, a small private school in my hometown, Cleveland,
Ohio. While a student at Hawken, I took courses in physics and chemistry at
Case Western Reserve University. In my free time, I play a lot of contract bridge with my awesome
partner/girlfriend
Lauren McGough, solve difficult
puzzles in the tradition of the
MIT mystery hunt, and spend too much time on reddit, Facebook,
and AIM.
