3 Getting Red Hat Commercial Linux

Contents of this section

3.1 Ordering a CD

The best way to get RHCL is on CDROM. This is good for most people, but may not be for those who don't have a CDROM drive or just want to try it out. For those people, we suggest you get it via FTP and install it that way. Please note, that route requires that you have Linux already installed in some form or are doing an NFS install.

For the people who want to take the easy route, get the CDROM version. This can be obtained from the ACC Bookstore.

The ACC Bookstore can be reached at:
        phone: (203) 454-5500
               (800) 546-7274
        fax: (203) 454-2582
        email: info@acc-corp.com

3.2 Getting it via FTP

If you don't have a CDROM or just want to try Red Hat Commercial Linux and you already have Linux (of any form) installed (or you have another Unix machine to use as an NFS server), then you can FTP the distribution from one of several places. Those places are:

ftp://ftp.pht.com/pub/linux/redhat/mothers-day-1.1
ftp://ftp.caldera.com/pub/mirrors/redhat/mothers-day-1.1
ftp://sunsite.unc.edu/pub/Linux/distributions/redhat/mothers-day-1.1
