Upcoming Events:**************************************************************9th Annual Student Origami Competition!  OrigaMIT traditionally holds an annual origami competition and exhibition. This year is no different. Folders of ALL skill levels are welcome and encouraged to participate. While it is not a strict requirement, we do promote the submission of original origami designs. Submissions must be origami: i.e. folding is the primary artistic vehicle. Modular origami (folding from multiple sheets) and folding from concave shapes other than a square are acceptable, though a single uncut square is preferred. To accommodate all submissions, we would also prefer if submissions be smaller than a square foot, but this is negotiable. If you have questions about the submission requirements, feel free to contact origami-info@mit.edu. Submissions are due Friday, February 19th from 5pm-7pm in the OrigaMIT office in Room W20-477. If you would like to arrange a submission drop off at some other time, please contact origami-info@mit.edu Submissions by MIT students only will be exhibited in a glass display case in the Stratton Lounge on the second floor of the MIT Student Center (W20). All submissions, by MIT students or others, will be eligible to win prizes based on their work.
