Randall Lewis' Incomplete Webpage

Welcome to my resurrected webpage. Back in August 1997, I started my first webpage. Those pages have long sense disappeared--I don't even have copies of them. But here's a new attempt at a webpage with useful information for others.

Ever heard of the Utah Valley Marathon?
Well, neither had I, because this is its first year! A couple of my cross country and track buddies from high school are putting it on. The course looks like a lot of fun! Check it out at

Using Internet Explorer?
Well, you should use FireFox for several reasons:

Firefox 2

  • Reason #1: FoxMarks -- This FireFox Add-on allows you to have 1 set of bookmarks across many different computers. It also allows you to access your bookmarks from public terminals and such if Google can't remember the website for you (by searching).

  • Get FoxMarks Now!
  • Reason #2: ForecastFox -- Get local weather information in an unobtrusive way, on the lower right task bar of your browser. It's great!

  • Get ForecastFox Now!
  • Reason #3: IE Tabs -- When somebody didn't worry about a page loading in FireFox, quickly switch to IE in a Tab (or just reload the page with the IE rendering engine) to get it to load properly. That way you never have to actually open up Internet Explorer. Hooray!

  • Get IE Tabs Now!
  • Reason #4: McAfee SiteAdvisor -- Aren't sure about a website before clicking on it? Let McAfee SiteAdvisor help you know when you're surfing in the "Red Zone."

  • Get McAfee SiteAdvisor Now!
  • Reason #5: Spell checking -- If it doesn't already spell check your web-based emails for you, just right click and "Spell check this field".
  • Reason #6: Bookmarks Toolbar with just Images -- Click and drag your most used bookmarks (the ones you don't already open up in an extra tab as part of your "Home") to the Bookmarks Toolbar, click on them so that their "favicon.ico" picture shows up, then right click on the bookmark and click "Properties" and delete all of the useless text! You can recognize "Google.com" by its "G" logo anyway, so why have it tell you that it is "Google" and waste all of that precious space.
  • etc.
