For two decades, my primary professional affiliation has been with the Society for the History of Technology. I have served SHOT on numerous committees and most recently as Vice President (2003-04) and as President (2005-06).
SHOT will be celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2007-08 at its annual meetings in Washington, D.C. (2007) and in Lisbon (2008).
