Biography

I joined the Operations Management group at the MIT Sloan School of Management in July 2012. I received my BS, MEng, and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT. My PhD advisor was Devavrat Shah and my thesis was entitled Information Extraction with Network Centrality: Finding Rumor Sources and Measuring Influence.

Before returning to MIT I spent one year as a postdoctoral researcher in the Statistics Department at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. I also spent the summer of 2010 working in Microsoft Research Cambridge with the Future Social Experiences (FUSE) group.
