Research Interests

My research focuses on social data analytics. I am interested in utilizing large-scale data from online social networks such as Facebook and Twitter to optimize business operations, design effective online advertisements and product recommendations, and develop new predictive models of user behavior.

What's New

Right now I am working on two projects related to Twitter. In one project we develop a system which predicts how many people will retweeet an individual tweet. Details can be found here.
