        Today was the first information session/thematic discussion session since the section regrouped. Kip Hodges presented us with three options regarding the future formats of the information/discussion meeting times. Option #1 was to continue having the moderated discussions on specific topics that we have been having up until this point. Option #2 was to spend 5 minutes at the beginning of each meeting making general announcements and then to utilize the remaining time working in the objective groups we have formed. Option #3 was to decide the format of each meeting during the meeting (and choose betewen either large group discussion or objective group time). Through a vote the majority of the class chose Option #3 and so the format of each information/discussion meeting from now on will be decided at the time of the meeting.
       The remainder of the class time was spent discussing how to refine the designs we have created thus far. Both Kip and the UTFs gave us suggestions and advice on how to spend the rest of the time we have so that we are not rushed for time during the week before presentations. The correlation between the website and the actual presentation was stressed and it was strongly suggested that we complete the website ahead of time so that the website and the presentation would be interconnected. There was some concern expressed by one objective group that the other objective groups were not as productive as they should have been during the last objective group meeting. The last five minute of class was spent in our objective groups. Objective group #1 has decided that we will meet at 11:00am in 16-160 tomorrow during the holiday to continue working on our design.
