Blade Box

Please use your smart phone (or a camera, if you have one) to take one or two nicely framed and evenly illuminated portfolio photos on a clean background for your portfolio. These pictures should be in landscape format.

The pull toy pictures in your portfolio are references for typical portfolio shots.

Photo tips:

1. Find a location with a neutral background that does not distract from your blade box.
2. For even lighting, shooting outside in bright shade (also called high shade) or on a lightly overcast day can work well. Direct sunlight will be too harsh. The picture's subject should face the light source or have the light source slightly across from the front. If the light source is behind the subject it will be in shadow. When taking pictures indoors, look for a place that is bright with even natural lighting, but not in the direct light from a window (unless it is overcast outside or the window is in shadow).

Submission instructions:

Upload one or two pictures of your blade box to your portfolio using the uploader. The pictures should be in .jpg or .png format.

If your iPhone takes pictures in .heic format, please use an online HEIC-to-JPG converter to convert it to JPG format before submitting.
